Unisphere provides monitoring and management for NVMe/TCP directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.
Prerequisites
The
NVME tab is only enabled if there are NVMe/TCP Protocol enabled ports configured on the storage system.
About this task
See
Understanding NVMe/TCP for an overview of NVMe/TCP.
The NVMe dashboard provides you with a graphical view of the relationship between an NVMe/TCP director and its associated NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes. From the dashboard, you can navigate to monitor and manage NVMe/TCP directors, NVMe/TCP ports, NVMe/TCP endpoints, IP interfaces, and IP routes.
To view the NVMe dashboard:
Steps
-
Select a storage system running
PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
-
Select
and click the
NVME tab to open the NVMe dashboard.
The following panels display:
- NVMe/TCP Directors—A panel displaying the following:
- The overall number of and relationships between the NVMe/TCP objects - NVMe/TCP Directors, unattached NVMe/TCP endpoints, attached NVMe/TCP endpoints, NVMe/TCP Ports, IP Routes, and IP Interfaces. Clicking an item opens the associated list view.
- The list of NVMe/TCP directors - the status of the NVMe/TCP director is represented by an icon that is based on the alerts for the director. Clicking
All Items results in the relationship panel displaying all NVMe/TCP Directors. Selecting a specific director results in an update to relationship panel to display director information for the selected director.
- Actions—A panel with the following controls:
- NVMe/TCP Alerts—A panel is displayed listing the latest alerts, the associated object, description, and creation date/time. Click
